FAQ

Questions organisers ask before they go on sale.

Gate control, tiered tickets, refunds — the practical stuff that decides whether a system actually works on the night.

Does the gate scanner work without internet?

Yes. The scanner caches the full guest list to the device on the morning of the show. Scans validate against the local copy and sync back the moment connectivity returns — no network, no problem.

Can a single ticket carry multiple seats or tiers?

Yes. Sell a family bundle, a VIP package, or a corporate block as one ticket, with each seat type laid out cleanly under a single QR. The gate sees exactly which seats the holder is admitting.

How do time-locked entry windows work?

Define your windows once — doors open at 18:00, late entry cut at 19:30, after-show pickup from 23:00 — and the scanner enforces them automatically. Early arrivals, late chancers, and re-entry attempts are flagged in real time.

Can I sell tickets at the door as well as online?

Yes. The same till that runs online sales also rings up walk-up tickets at the gate, prints (or messages) the QR instantly, and admits the holder on the same scan.

How are refunds, re-issues, and transfers handled?

Refunds and re-issues happen in two taps from the order — the old QR is invalidated at the gate immediately, and the new one is issued to the buyer. Transfers between holders work the same way.

Can I cap how many tickets one buyer can take?

Yes. Set per-tier and per-order limits when you build the event. The storefront enforces them at checkout, so resellers can't hoover up your allocation.
