Ready to ring up your first sale?
Set up your shop in under an hour. We handle the product import, the tax profile, and the staff training.
Questions shop owners ask before switching.
Straight answers on hardware, compliance, and the bits everyone worries about.
Do I need to buy a new till or special hardware?
No. GeniYanga runs on any modern Android phone or tablet you already own. If you want a thermal printer or a barcode scanner, we'll recommend affordable kit — but you can ring up your first sale on the device in your pocket.
What happens when the internet drops?
Everything keeps working. Sales, stock movements, and MRA receipts queue locally on the device and sync the moment connectivity returns — no lost sales, no manual reconciliation.
Is it really MRA (EIS) compliant?
Yes. Every receipt is generated against the Malawi Revenue Authority's Electronic Invoicing System spec, including the QR code, fiscal signature, and required line-item formatting. You'll be ready well before the May 2026 mandate.
How does lay-bye actually work on the till?
Open a lay-bye against a customer, take any deposit amount, and the system tracks the running balance, deposit history, and remaining due. Stock is held but not deducted until the final payment lands — no handwritten slips, no disputes.
Can I run more than one branch on the same account?
Yes, on the Plus plan and above. Update prices, products, or promotions in one place and they sync to every branch instantly. Branch-level reports roll up into a single multi-store dashboard.
What does it cost to get started?
The Free plan covers up to 50 orders a month — enough to validate the till before you commit. Paid plans start at K50,000/month with a 30% discount when you pay yearly. No setup fees, no hardware required.
