Pharmacy

Find any drug, in any branch, in milliseconds.

A pharmacist at the counter of a busy Malawian pharmacy looking up stock on a GeniYanga till while customers queue.

Indexed cross-branch search and two-tap stock transfers — built for pharmacies where the drug a customer needs is rarely sitting on the same shelf as the till.

Every branch, every shelf, one search box.

Import your SKU catalogue, link your branches, and turn on cross-branch search in under an hour. We handle the data import, the MRA tax profile, and the staff training.

FAQ

Questions pharmacists ask before switching.

Stock transfers, regulated meds, expiry control — the operational stuff that decides whether a pharmacy system actually works behind the counter.

How fast is the cross-branch search, really?

Sub-100ms against tens of thousands of SKUs across every branch. The catalogue is indexed on the till and synced in the background, so search stays instant even when connectivity is poor — your customer never waits while the screen spins.

How do branch-to-branch stock transfers work?

Find the drug in a sister branch's stock, tap 'request transfer', and confirm the quantity. The sister branch accepts, picks, and dispatches. The ledger moves stock from one branch to the other only on confirmed receipt — so you never lose track of in-transit packs.

Can it track batches and expiry dates?

Yes. Every pack is held under a batch with a recorded expiry. The till dispenses first-expiry-first by default, flags packs nearing expiry on the dashboard, and never lets you sell a pack that's past its date.

Does it handle POM (Prescription-Only Medicine) sales?

Yes. Drugs can be flagged as POM in the catalogue. At the till, dispensing a POM line requires the prescriber, prescription reference, and patient details — captured into the audit trail and printed on the dispensing label.

Can I see live stock across all branches at the counter?

Yes. Every search result shows stock at your branch first, then live counts at every sister branch — so you can answer 'do you have it?' before the customer has even finished asking, and offer a transfer if the answer is no.

Is it MRA (EIS) compliant for pharmacy receipts?

Yes. Every sale — over-the-counter, dispensed prescription, or transfer fulfilment — generates an EIS-ready tax invoice with the QR code, fiscal signature, and line-item formatting the Malawi Revenue Authority requires.
